Cox/Nine Eagles Radio Compatibility?

I have a couple of 4ch Cox 2.4Ghz radios kicking around that I would like to use for a robot project for my 5 year old son. Are there any 4-ch. receivers out there that are compatible other than the standard 2-in-one? Also have a Parkzone Champ Tx that might work.

Thanks

Champ TX should be DSM2 which works nicely with Spektrum receivers and OrangeRX from Hobby King. Highly recommend both.

I have one Nine Eagles TX which should match your Cox but have not confirmed myself so will hold off on commenting.

TX bind Micro P47/Vapor

Hi Guys
Newbie to RC flying. I have a Nine eagles Ultra Micro P51 complete with radio RTF and a Parkzone Night Vapour no radio ARF.Is it possible:
- to transfer the electronics from the P51 to the Vapor
- or bind/link the radio from the P51 to the Vapor
BTW - I also have a Turnigy 9X 2.4G Radio

My aim is not to "have to buy another radio "specifically for the Vapor

Cheers

The NE radio won't work with the DSM2 Vapor. The Turnigy won't fly the NE P-51, either.

You can get a DSM2 module for the 9X and it will fly the Vapor. Then you can get a used AR6400+servo (Going rate is less than $30) and swap them into the P-51 and will be able to fly both with the 9X. NE to DSM2 swaps are very easy.

Going forward, DSM2 RX's are available cheaply (Orange, Lemon and other knock off's), so its a good std to stick with.

After learning to use the 9X, you won't want to use the NE RTF TX anymore, anyway.
