Get or build something like this: Name: fetchomatic-3000.jpg
Views: 128
Size: 95.8 KB
Description:

Tie a 1/2" nut or something similar to the fishing line, launch it at the quad or a nearby branch and pull.

Used a shotgun on last plane I stuck up a tree. It was either the plane or my pride and I guess the plane lost. Probably not helpful in this case...

You could post an ad on craigslist to see if there are any tree climbers willing to climb up and fetch it for a fee. Not sure what they'd charge, but there are definitely people around that do it for a living and it shouldn't be too hard for them.

Thats not a bad idea either... I will try with the fishing line and slingshot first then move on to the classified ad

Thanks again for the suggestion

Heh. Lumberjacks, i.e. tree removal service companies, climb trees all day long for money.

Nice. Congrats. I'd have been afraid of hitting my lipo with a slingshot and setting the whole damn tree on fire.

oh after leaving that thing up there over night that lipo was shot low voltage it poofed a little too, I could prob get the voltage to come back up if I really wanted to - dont it on another cell but its never the same and i was a nervous wreck when i was doing it... so unsoldering the connectors off - lead cable too and putting it in a bucket of salt water...
