Down elevator. Start at about 5-10% and do it at altitude while flying in a straight line from side to side. And deploy the flap's slowly so you can see what's going on. Are you flying alone?

The nose will pitch up, so around 1 mm down elevater will do the job for the maiden flight.
And try to deploying the flaps in good height first time, and at the normal landing speed, and see what the glider do.
When trimmed, it should remain the flight path, so a bit of fine tune will probberbly be required.

Very good video. Down elevator mix with flaps. Would it be the same with spoilers?

I think so, If you mean spoilers on the top side of the wing.
For spoilerons (up ailerons) it will depend on the glider.
I got 20 gliders with spoilerons, 16 need up elevator, 1 is newtral and 3 need down elevator (and they have short tail boom and small v tail.)

I trimmed out a Spirit with spoilers for a guy, and it needed about 5% up to compensate for spoilers. That gave a nice solid descent angle.

Flaps increase wing lift so you need down to keep it level.

Spoilers decrease wing lift so you need up elevator to keep it level

Spoilerons do not equal spoilers due to the location on the wing.

Spoilerons, ailerons deflected up, can go either way but on my Easy Glider I need down elevator with spoilerons.

I remember going through this exercise years ago. And we came up with the following "catch everything" phrase ---- "it's the flow over the tail" works for anything you can't quite explain.

Generally, no.

Depening on the spoiler configuration, all sort of pitch moments (including zero) can result.

A little up elevator is most common compensation required.
