May I ask why you are willing to pay that kind of money for a catalog from 1989?

It has a special meaning to me. It was my first Tower Hobbies catalog I ever had when I got into the hobby. I was only 14 and wanted to buy so many planes but all I could do was wish. I lost the catalog when we had to move to another house.

Thanks Mark, I saw that auction. It's the periodic mailer versus the annual catalog. I was considering buying that to hold me over till I find someone willing to sell the annual catalog. There was a 1987 catalog on ebay that ended tonight. The bid was $25 and I put my maximum bid of $50 and someone sniped me in the final seconds.

I saw a few different ones, 89, 92. Maybe that seller can point you in another direction or give you some assistance. Good luck sir.

I asked the guy if he had any annual catalogs and he doesn't. He buys large lots of catalogs/magazines from different bulk sellers and he'd let me know if any come up.

That's great! It's awesome when you can find something that has a special meaning to you that will turn the hands of the clock backwards to a special memory! There's a couple that I wish that I could locate again.
