It is a autoflip - type - just press button/appy full stick, the rest will be done by programming.
The only RTF/Toy one you can manually flip/roll is the MQX, afaik.

Based on what? What I found in descriptions about it state that the gear channel is used to change from stable (assuming 6 axis mode) to aerobatic (assuming 3 axis mode) flight, but no mention of it auto flipping?

this as far as i can tell is just an indoor flier but it feels like a scaled down version of a large camera quad

aileron 80 elevator 90 rudder 120 in the video feels like 12inch prop quad

aileron 100 elevator 110 rudder 120 feels more like 10inch prop quad

assuming both quads are used for filming
Nice mate, it flies very smoothly!

My 2 cents: it also looked "auto" to me (looked a bit too even, clean & tight to be manual).

So far, the small brushed quads that I know of that are capable of manual flips: Blade mQx, Walkera Ladybird, Heli-max 1SQ/9 Eagles Alien.

I'd be curious to know how this flys vs an SQ1. Got to try the SQ1 last weekend and was very impressed...

Hobby King's site said it will flip, roll and loop.

And you can set up the gear switch to go into Acrobatic mode.

What's the chances that they are true to their word and that it can auto flip in regular mode, but in acrobatic mode, you have the ability to manually do all the above?

We can hope can't we? LOL

Out of Stock already. I'm glad or I would have had to buy one. I just bought a micro y6. The thing I hate about it is I can't use it with my dx7s. This quad would have been a much better fit for me. Ah...wth. Maybe I will backorder one...lol.

Ah. So I stand corrected.

Based on the videos it looks much like any autoflip I've ever seen.

Hope dies last. But I do not trust any of HK 's words any more.

I pulled the trigger for the module to tinker with - if it comes with an attached quad - no problem - it covers the shipping fee

yeah, I just watched the Q-bot video from HK site (forum link is null) and it is auto-flipping in the video... way to precise... lets hope it has a manual mode.

On the other-hand... since when did the NE Alien / Heli-max 1SQ manual flip?
If they do do manual.... it would make sense since Heli-max has traditionally sold re-branded Walkera helis, and Nine Eagles has turned to Walkera engineering for their advanced Helis and now micro quad too it looks.
If that's the case..... how different is the FC code on the "sister" boards? with Deviation fw I think I could bind it to my Devo10!

Here is the main RCG 1SQ thread:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1739348

there are also review threads in RCG and RCUniverse.
From what I read, see (videos of some pretty wild flip recoveries) and have been told, there are manual flips.
Lots of the flight behavior descriptions are between posts 400 to 600.
But it seems that every version responds to their own Tx.
Not sure which versions Deviation can handle.

Thanks for the homework....

j/k

hmm... the RX boards look suprisingly similiar to Ladybird RX! The 1SQ board is just missing the telemetry chip and the update sockets.
It'd make an interesting board swap if it somehow binded to Devo.
Deviation is capable of - NE J6 pro
