The OEM & Brands thread
Fact: there are more battery brands than battery producing corporations.
OEM production and private labels are common in the RC business, and after a few searces the relation between certain brands is quite obvious.
So which brands come from the same source? What have you guys found?
(size not equal, but notice the packing and wires)

Some of us LiPooy testers played this game years ago and fact remains that even cells made in the same plants on the same production lines are not all the same.

I think his point is that even if you manage to determine that a certain arrangement of wires and shrink wrap points to a single battery maker, it doesn't necessarily tell you anything about the cells in that pack and how they will perform.
I'm a very low volume battery maker myself (about 12 total! ), and even I didn't get all my cells from the same place at the same time.
