Xtreme aileron hinges- 29% back ?
I scaled down the ailerons and installed the hinges at 25% (I'm chicken), instead of the scale 29%...
Even at 25%, there's a LOT of aileron leading edge sticking down into the slipstream at full deflection. The style follows the Friese (sp?) design....used universally to counteract adverse yaw. Anyway, they have an automatic 'exponential' effect, that at low applications, they don't have a lot of effect...But, man, at full deflection, they'll displace some AIR! This will be interesting, at the very least. |
