Building the Bergen Foldable Hexacopter

Here's building my Foldable Hexacopter by Bergen R/C Helicopters.
I've dubbed this "PROJECT EQUINOX" as the intention is to be able to utilize it's capabilities equally well day or night.

This is an extremely well made, industrial-strength airframe ....I'm really pleased with this machine's component quality! and later on in this thread, you'll see that I am extremely pleased with the stability and smoothness of this autonomous, heavy-lift, aerial platform.

Some specs on this build:
Span: 990mm Shaft to shaft
Motors: 6ea OS 30 Electric
ESC: 6ea 60A Opto-isolated
Flight Control: DJI Wookong-M Waypoint
Radio: JR-12X and Spektrum AR-8000
FPV Telemetery / OSD: Eagle Tree
Video Downlink: 5.8Ghz 600mW Circular Polarized
Cameras: Ready Made RC (FPV) and GoPro Hero2
Flight Battery: 4ea 4S 5000mAh 30C packs (20,000mAh total 16-minutes flight duration)
Video Battery: 1ea 3S 2200mAh 20C

Pictures speak a thousand words so here we go:

Here's Chris Bergen with the prototype in FPV mode (note the stability of this machine)
Folding Hexacopter, test flight with payload (7 min 49 sec)

Flight testing the Sony HDR-XR520 this morning (In the excitement, I forgot to zoom to wide-angle before I took off, so this was shot with Optical-zoom ~6X) ....enjoy

DJI Ground Station 4.0.6 was working perfectly for me (5-waypoint Wookong-M). This morning I updated to 4.0.7 and Google maps won't load. I keep getting the following message, even if I do as it suggests and try the VPN:

Maybe the network is not good, You can try to open the GS VPN(Sys_set->Options->NetWork Setting->GS VPN) to load the map.

I am really not happy with this development. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Here's a screenshot:

Wow that is awesome! Could you give me more specifics on the props and motors you are using? Also, what do you use to allow you to fly it with the joystick?

Motors are OS 30 Electric with APC 13x6.5
Joystick turns out to be a waste of time and only good for sim mode. DJI Wookong-M Waypoints flight control.
Here's what she can do combining LOS, FPV and Autonomous flying mode:

Just Flying (4 min 40 sec)

EUREKA!!!
Found the problem! Turned out to be simple as, Google Earth not liking my Video Settings!
You have no idea how many hours it took and the number of times I screwed with XP install, to finally track down this simple issue!

Very unscientific I do confess. But, this morning, in lieu of smashing the laptop, for no real reason I just started screwing-around with Google Earth and poking at all the Display Properties / Settings of XP, when suddenly, a Google Map appeared on the screen! ......,ok, maybe I'm on to something here, I thought.
Closed-out Google Earth and started DJI Ground Station, and sure enough, there it was!
So, for the Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 running Win XP Pro, it's: Digital Flat Panel, 1024x768, 32-bit
Simple as that ...........go figure!

Oh, and you may or may not need to run this Google-Earth fix http://www.flyingcameras.ca/download..._djigs_fix.zip
......and yes, I did shut-down and restart the computer a couple times and it still works
