we are trying to work with flybar. the FCB/Gyro's are our last hope. i will be updating my trail results here..

If you can create a flybar system that works well for this craft it will be a major simplification. Check out the simple AirHogs VTOL toy in the video below.

The flybar is something I would have like to pursue, but I don't have access to a mchine shop.

Here are the features I would incorporate into a flybar rotor if I could build one:

1) Adaptable to ordinary propellers. If a prop breaks, it can be replaced easily
2) Adjustable flybar angle for tuning the stability
3) Adjustable flybar weights
4) Easily replacable flybar arms...to try different lengths and for repairs
5) Easily mounted to common motor shafts

looking side on , where is your CG in relation to the pivot point ? in the VERTICAL not horizontal plane

there needs to be seperation for control, and i think your vertical CG and pivot point are to close

With your setup the CG should be below the rotor center when in VTOL configuration, and as low as possible. This is NOT to make the plane more stable, but to give you more response in pitch.

i hope that the cg and pitch center in my plane are in sameline and under the motor

Hi,
i seen that you need more help.So,first you have to decide what do you want to do with kk board!?Because vtol stuf is a litlle bit difficult but not impossibile,that because some comands really need to be inverted.
If you want to make one plane like samson avatar,it will work but if you want to tilt forward more than 45°,aileron with rudder became inverted!
For programing i use lazzy zero flash tool with good results.

Can you link the exact KK board you purchased? Some version do quadcopter only; others can do many more configurations.

The board you have linked is for quadcopters only. Is it possible to reflash this board to accommodate other configurations?

If you are building a quadcopter VTOL you can make it work for controlling the fan motors. The tilt servo and other control surface servos will need to be controlled directly from the Rx.

Hey,if you want only 2 motors to have like osprey,you need kk2 board with osprey twincopter firmware,from Lazzyzero repository!
But remember for tilting you need some spare channel from rx and not more than 45° tilt!!! this is the board:
