"Official" SuperFr3aK Thread
I'm somewhat officially ending the original Fr3aK Zone thread and starting a new discussion about the SuperFr3aK here.
What better way to begin the discussion than with a video. If viewed on YouTube, this video can be pushed all the way to 1080 HD.

Wing: Solid core foam construction (CA safe) with Textreme Carbon D-box and glass skin. Flapperons are double faced and hinged in the mold with root doublers, tip doublers, and servo well doublers. Area is 344 square inches of Zone V2 airfoils with washout. Typical wing weight is 135g.
Fuselage: Hollow molded one-piece construction with 2.4ghz friendly aramid and glass forward (six layers) and Textreme / Uni / aramid boom construction. Wing attachment blocks are molded in as well as a canopy recess. Typical fuselage weight is 42g with canopy.
Tails: Solid molded foam construction (CA safe) with spread tow 12k spars, glass skins, and kevlar hinges. Vertical area is 33.6 square inches of V4D airfoil. Horizontal is 42.2 square inches of a proprietary airfoil. Typcial tail weight is 13.5-14g per set.
Hardware package includes a CNC cut throwing peg, CNC cut control horns, molded servo covers, pull strings, wire for springs, wire for top drive, bolts, tail mount, and a strip of "Made in the USA" stickers. Display proudly.
Required for completion: Electronics, adhesives, and simple tools typical with DLG assembly. Recommended servos are JR DS-188 or MKS DS-65k for the rudder and elevator, and Airtronics 94802 or Hyperion DS-09SCD for the flapperons.
Typical all up weight (that's AUW, or flying weight finished and balanced for the noobs) is around 270g but a build at 260g is possible.
CG for starters should be around 77mm. Throws for flapperons are +/- 12mm, elevator is +/- 5mm, and rudder is +/- 15mm. If you run a forward CG, more elevator throw may be needed.
Launch camber is -1mm, cruise is +1-2mm, and thermal is +4-6mm typically. Don't be shy with the camber on this ship.
SuperFr3aKs are available from Skip Miller Models beginning in the very near future.

Very cool Tom! I was lucky enough to get one of the pre-prouduction airframes and I am super pleased with it's performance. Keep up the good work.
