The ones currently on the model are 25mm long, 3mm thread. There will be a few more as well. At least on the locking plates, as well as for the FC mount plate etc.

OK, I think were going to have to shorten the center section height some. As it is, it going to be hard to tie it together where it wont be flimsy, without adding a bunch of unnecessary weight. There is PLENTY of room there to shorten it quite a bit.

That is definitely fine with me. I was even going to suggest that we shrink the whole thing down by about 20% or so if possible but I didn't want to push my luck. Plus I have a hard time envisioning how all of the battery and flight controller will sit inside and how much volume it will consume.

I imagine that we will put some standoffs and a then the FC right smack in the CoG, and then maybe a battery above and a battery below.

I just got two of these in from hobbyking:

They might be too big though.

Thanks,

Matt

Perfect. And if you want to "spec" out any particular batteries (due to sizing constraints), that's fine. The literature on these Park250's say they need a 2 cell; if the ones I bought are too big, I can order something smaller.

Thanks again,

Matt

Does anyone know of a good source for the needed hardware (like the spacers)?
If you need a local source for standoffs you could check out Fry's in Renton. I have picked up nylon and aluminum hardware there before.
