Exactly. It's called "making things fit into your worldview."

Must be why many of these folks want the apocalypse to come so soon (of course, Christians have thought that the apocalypse would come soon after Jesus was crucified, so nothing new here).

I'm not following the context.

Are we talking about drones to monitor things, or drones to drop munitions on criminals?

Will the drones be controlled by the military, or a police/LE agency?

Makes no difference. Any and every collateral casualty violates it.

So an unarmed drone, operated by a law enforcement agency, is a problem?

Maybe that Dentist-Lawyer lady in soCal could fund a lawsuit addressing this and this.

Should an "unarmed" drone kill someone without due process, it's still a violation. Nice try.

I've never, ever seen a right wing anti-war march.

On the other hand, liberals in my neck of the woods protest every week against war.

And it's a liberal who is most aggressively fighting Obama in the courts over indefinite detention:

And Code Pink is still very active, but because many media outlets are biased in favor of Obama, they just don't get the coverage they used to.

I too wish there was more energy behind the anti-war movement, but what is there is generally contributed by liberals.

That's because you live in an area that is almost totally liberal.

Your district voted for Boxer for House of Reps, for heaven's sake!

You are currently represented by Matsui, the Earmark Queen!

I wasn't trying, I was asking. Because it is happening, as referenced in the links I provided (of which I presume you are already aware). I simply want to knwo what you think.

And why the quotes around the word "unarmed" ...? You seem pretty smart ... you do realize that some of the drones in the arsenal are not equipped with terminal-effect weapons, correct?

So how would an unarmed drone kill someone without due process? By crashing into said person and splattering their guts on the ground?

That means some are.

Nice PC weasel words, "terminal-effect" weapons. You should write for Obama.

Just trying to be clear, which you have not been at all. No attempt at weasel wording, sorry you took it that way.

Some in the arsenal can be armed ... so you are stating that because some can be armed, they will somehow find their way into Law Enforcement and then be used to kill Americans without due process? Interesting.
