Did you swap out the ESC's from left to right to make sure it was isolated to the ESC?
I have never heard that sort of beeping so I wonder if you just have a partial failure of your speed controller. But there could be some interplay between motor/wire/battery combination. Either way, even if you isolate it to the ESC, the ESC will have to be replaced IMHO. But trouble shooting like you are doing at least prevents you from replacing the wrong component Good luck and happy gremlin hunting.
