This Saturday was not sloper day. We had 0-5mph wind out of the North. As a sloping day, I give it "1". Now thermaling was another story. Only about 5 of us were on the winch, but everyone of us pulled a good 20 min flight at least once. Winching gets a score of "9" for the day, on the Paul Mittendorf scale.
Some highlights of the day include a Bald Eagle thermalling with us (very rare in South Florida), a new member joining us, Peter M (welcome Peter), and lots of full size air traffic coming through our flight area (calm air brought plenty of private plane owners out).

Thank you Orrin. I amazed at the interest our little blog generates. Someone suggested it's because I have more pictures than text. Or maybe it's because we never have any snow!
