My Experience with HK Packing

A MINIMOA was ordered from the USA warehouse and arrived today.

o - Package was in perfect condition.
o - Double boxed with all box joints taped.
o - All parts bubble wrapped and taped to internal cardboard to minimize movement.
o - Wings were in their own Box which would make them triple boxed.
o - Wing tips had cardboard protector over them.
o - Nice little tool kit with screwdriver, wrench, glue and other parts.
o - All parts in good condition.

All in all, a very nice packaging job.

Can't wait to get it in the air.

That was my experience too with the giant over-sized box that my 2x 76" cubs came in.

That's weird...I coulda swore I heard from a guy on here, not that long ago, that HK used "virtually no shipping protection" on their items. And this guy knew his stuff too, he had been in packing/shipping something or another for 30 years! Then there was a whole other host of issues too, but that was typical of that kind of rant. Good news though, based on his recent posts I think he's seen the light and LOVES HK now!

Packing looks great, as does that glider. Have fun with it!

My Phoenix 2000 arrived exactly like this. Double boxed, air pads, tape and even empty "filler" boxes to boot. Let us know how it flies, always looking to expand
