Yes he drill the old pinions and then puts a small amount of JB weld on the shaft and slides it on.

Originally a press fit, since he has to drill. JB weld is a good idea unless you ever want the opportunity to remove your pinion again. Otherwise you might try heating the pinion on the stove or somewhere similar to expand it till the pinion slides on the motor shaft.

I popped mine off using pinion puller and hammered it onto the inrunners shaft. It's a really tight fit.

I fired the inrunner up n 2S with no prop this morning to make sure it ran after soldering new leads onto it. No problems so far. I'll measure kV and stuff after work.

Would it be possible to try it on 1s, and measure the amp draw too?

whats the gear ratio of the gearbox?
stock steup gets in the area of 7k rpm on the prop.
so you will kneeed more if tyour making more thrust.

8000kv bl motor, at 4v, 32000rpm.
4:1 gearbox puts it at, 8000 rpm theroetical.

IIRC, Vlad mentioned the need for a really high kV, somthing like 15,000kv.
i wouls love to see what happens. if you get a chance, try a three blade gws 5030.

the stock motor shaft measure 1.45mm, so a ebay 681xxz bearing shold just slip right in.

If HH are indeed visiting...... Change the setup on the AS3X bricks so that dual ailerons are possible with flaps. The problem is in the on board mixing, instead of reversing ch2 it should be mirrored.

Mirror's or reversing channel 2 won't cause Flaps to work with AS3X.

Reverse Channel 2 is required to use linear aileron servos and not have to individually reverse one, since you aren't flipping the servo over like a rotary servo.

I dont want the flaps to have AS3X, I want my dual ailerons to have AS3X while being capable of acting as flaps too.

Is there a proper term for that... Flaperons?

EDIT: I think I know what you mean now, if ch2 was mirrored instead of reversed the flaps would move in opposite directions?
