Maiden flight for the (scratch-built) Concorde
Check out the maiden flight of my Concorde. Its made out of dollar store foam board, powered by a Turnigy 2212-6 2200 kv motor, 20 amp ESC, 1,300 mah 3s lipo with 2 x 9g servos. Flew great on its first flight.
I used the plans available here. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...t=concord+plan

About 4 or 5 minutes of mixed flying. Going from 4.2 to 3.8 v per cell. Someone radar'ed one of these Concordes doing 70mph+, which wouldn't surprise me. Its a shame I don't have more footage, by the second pack I was flying low and fast. I was even flying over a huge puddle in the field, pretending it was the Atlantic. Landing are fun too! I was landing in a high-alpha and really slow.
