Another solution to jello

I just ordered one of these mounts. Since my 9$ motors are creating a lot of jello it will be interesting to see the result. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1816315

I did the same thing with 1.5mm wire rope from lowes/home depot. Cost about $5 for this whole little setup. Used some PVC caps as the mounts.

PS thanks for the great park video - especially appreciate the music.
I think it should be good either way up

Thanks all for following the thread. Here is the almost final quad. I am trying 900 mHz again and hung the antenna way out the back on a detachable arm. I still have to bolt on the GoPros, but thats it for now. Happy flying.

cheers...phil

Yes after trying the Screen looks like i would have to order the goggles to see how i like it. My final intention is to do FPD in 3D. btw just read your bio. very impressive. i am one of those geezer who loves the "train my dragon" in 3D. The other half thinks i a still a small kid

will be slowly collecting all the necessary material b4 starting to make a copy of your design. keep u posted when i start. ...

cheers.

Just finished reading your earlier thread regarding using up to 6s batteries. will keep that in mind for later iterations of the build.

At the moment since i am still learning the ropes will keep to as simple as possible using 3s and as confidence grows than will probably go 4s battery and more. The tiger motors are good however i do not have them at the moment. again later.
cheers

Video distortion software?

Hi!

Great build! I'm about to start building my first copter so this was a good inspiration. I actually started by getting a Oculus Rift for a FPV plane that I have so I was wondering what software you use to create the distorted views for the Rift?

Thx!

Just fell onto this watching videos on youtube about the oculus rift! I can't wait to see more guys using this stuff! It's got to be an AMAZING flying experience with those goggles. Great build thread! Thanks for sharing all this info!
