What could possibly have lead to his rant being reported? Seemed logical, reasonable, and fully compliant with the rules we all love and cherish here, right?

The issue is , was the rant warranted ! [ reasonable cause for it ? ] By posting here he has drawn flack , and the rest is a matter of opinion , and there you go ...

I don't even think a rant needs to be warranted, it's his right, and it's a public forum, and he should be able to say whatever he wants, for whatever reason.

That being said...people shouldn't expect that everyone will agree with them, and shouldn't get hot and bothered when other opinions and thoughts are shared. Otherwise he can open a thread, get his rant on, then close right away.

All of the comments though are still subject to the rules and regs set out by the owner and mods.

So you think a rant thread should remain untouched ? Nobody should write in one ? Opening a thread is an invitation for people to write about subject at hand. You do realize this is a public forum don't you ? Whether a person asks for help/Input or not, people will chime in on past experience or advice in order to help the person along...Welcome to the wide world of open forums. . Reread this thread and you will find many people sharing their thoughts and giving advice. Understand this and you will be better off with your reading and writing time spent.

I'm even surprised this thread is still here with that moderation on the first post. Perhaps my words here will fade away

well, llike many before him, the OP got his rant on and they went out in a blaze of glory. He appeared to hate all hobby shops, so I'm wondering where he's gonna feed his addiction from now?

O he's not gone yet, like those other 1 or 2 Tequila bending brilliant shining stars are. Plus the other couple 3-5k posters that just pissed off people for five or six years. One is Chuck, the other I can't remember.
