HighGain - thats a fantastic build. how did you do the down motor mounts.?

Beautifully done. its got a lot of "wing area" which means reduced wing-loading, so yes that should make it want to fly with less RPM might be great for a camera ship.

VIDEO's please

So, notice anything better about it? Does it fly better, more stable, can you lift more with the 8 motors?
Yeah man. I actually jumped in my chair when he gunned it up the first time. Looked like a ufo!

It fly's awesome and although I don't plan to lift more than a GoPro in the water-proof housing I am sure it can lift close to twice as much now. Of course it accelerates up much faster than stock and very straight.

Some things I have noticed is it takes less than half throttle to hover and decel's down on a dead stick much slower.

i could see that in your assistance how could yo miss that. beside if you hook up your gimbal to your naza you have to use the assistance to make some change in the gimbal section for it to work. really you cant missed unless you havent open assistance and dive right into making connection

Yes, I just wanted to make the connection while I had the phantom open. I don't have the 7th channel/lever set up on the tx yet and just had phantom apart to get the power supply for the gimbal.

Thanks Bo...

I took a bunch of pics, even of the machining steps. The bottoms of the arms are not flat all the way across so I milled a spot for the motors. This pic shows all that goes into the arm prep on the bottom.

Getting the last 6 ESC's ready for stacking.

Assembly of the first ESC before soldering the second to it.

That gear might let the bottom props clear. Where did you get that set?

HGT - I was hoping you'd film the landing.... What did you do? Sit it down in the grass? Also, what did you coat the board with, very nice!
