Thank god it didn't damage people or property. I should qualify again that I NEVER intended to fly it out of the field I started from. The decision to fly over the parking deck was bad enough but I definitely never meant to end up where I did.

It wasn't designed for FPV, but it's a Paralinx Arrow that I was using on a pro video shoot to send HD video from a Sony PMW EX1R to an HD video switcher via HDMI to 5.8Ghz.
I wondered how the GoPro Hero 2 would look and it was great until I lost the plane. 1080/60i to a 7.2v powered Marshall HD monitor and the Paralinx receiver. The latency was very low and there was no analog down-conversion. As crazy as it sounds I was gonna wheel my 50" production monitor out to the loading dock just to see what low-latency 1080 HD FPV looked like on a 50" monitor.
This was more an exercise in "Could this work?" instead of "Is this at all practical?"
I don't own any actual FPV gear and am open to suggestions. Please help me spec a real system before I get tempted to try the GoPro / Paralinx again (kidding)

I get it now that the x-miter was just "re-purposed" from your previous setup that included the EX1R.
For a few seconds there, you were my king.
You do some very cool stuff, but hanging a Sony like that off your quad would have been a whole new ballgame.
I've been reading this story for some time and am glad to hear it has a good ending in finding it.
