2013 Bluegrass EDF Jet Jam (E-Jets Successor)
That's right all you RC Groups EDF jet fans this is the Official Annoucement for the 2013 Bluegrass EDF Jet Jam.
The dates are September 3rd - 8th
Location and Host Club: Southern Kentucky Model Aero Club
Bowling Green is located in the Southern Part of the Bluegrass State.
It is roughly 2 hours south of Louisville, KY and about 1 hour north of Nashville, TN. The flying site is 5 minutes west of I-65. So it will be easy to access by car or air travel.
There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area and while we have not discussed discount with a particular hotel I have attached the Chamber link to the area hotels:
There are many local attractions for the family, the National Corvette Museum is just five minutes from the flying field and Mammouth Caves the worlds largest underground caves are nearby too.
We will maintain the popular format that was used at the previous events so there will plenty of flying time available to everyone.
The Runway is 800 feet x 50 feet with a large grass area out in front.
Plenty of space for tents and pop-ups
110 Volt on-site in the pits.
We have a commitment from Daniel Schubeler to attend and expect BVM Models and other major vendors too.
If you would like to be added to our email data base, please send me a PM containing your email and mailing address.
I hope you can join us in September.
