Help!
DIY Brushless motor gimbal, need help sourcing parts for gimbal

Need some help from a fellow DIYer or engineer parts guru.

In photo below labeled
1 in pink. Any one knows the name or where I can find this alloy motor or case housing?
From the screw layout at the back it looks like it has a regular motor screwed on in side it, It maybe a custom part or off the shelf part or motor.
need to know where i can source it.

2 in green. what is this joint called?
I want to source a similar joint like this, need to know whats the proper name for these type of joint as I think that they are out there, just need to now what they are called so I can run a search.

The needs from this is for my personal use, as a fellow DIY guru who likes to build his own stuff.
Any one with the knowledge or knows where I can find similar items, please do chime in.

2: looks to be a custom extruded aluminium L angle.
if you have a cnc machine, then you could make something similar.
for diy'ers, best option is to just use standard L angle such as this

<edit> if you see something similar in this lot, then maybe could use it instead

1, I believe its a standard hobby motor in some aluminium can.... If you plan to DIY, then you don't need it.. use the mounts on motor directly.

r4I have sourced 2 the L bracket, very easy to sort out.
Now 1 is the brain buster, i shall try to find some one with a lathe to cut one like it.
I like this motor drum style as it will make building the gimbal much easier,

Ive been researching this gimbal on a french forum and I think a Russian website.

Also see here

The motors are standard motors that have been disassembled and rewound from what I interpreted. I'm subscribing to this thread because I want to DIY a BLDC gimbal as well.
YouTube copter38 there are some videos showing it in use. It is very impressive.
The gimbal is also on pre-order here:

Hex, what did you source for the L bracket, was it just standard extruded aluminium or did you find a ready made bracket

Thanks

That motor may be a Maxon or some other motor like one from a vcr tape head. There are so many brushless motors out there these days.

You can use pretty much any brushless outrunner, but you need it to be a really low kv, or you need to rewind them with alot more turns of wire to make it a lower kv.

The motors I just picked up at 70 turn outrunners.
