Is this new, or I have missed this in my daily sifting through the EDF forums? Anyone have one of these that can comment on it?

Pulled Trigger on Hobby Lobby Starmax 4s F-35

Just bought one for $99, $111 with shipping!!!...what a deal...great entry-level thrust vectoring model on a proven flyer. Will be my first thrust vectoring. I hope it's not too heavy with extra servos and battery. I got the Thunderbird model.

I am interested in amount of thrust of 64 mm with 4s and how many blades. Could you take some photos of the setup. You will find thrust vectoring a different animal and lot more fun.
Thanks.

Will do Aero. I think I must have gotten the last one, they show Pre-order now. But I haven't gotten any shipping info either, now that I think of it...hmmm.

I just called Hobby Lobby to get an update on my Thunderbird and they said OOPS we sent out a gray one to you...the others are backordered to April! Trying to decide what course of action to take...

Ooops, no mistake. My Thunderbird F-35 arrived from Hobby Lobby yesterday so everything is good. Haven't unboxed yet but peeked in to see that it was the right plane and all parts look good so far.

I am having problems setting up my radio in this plane. I am using a Spektrum AR8000 Rx and DX7s Tx. Both aileron servos move in the same direction and there are no instructions on how to mix the thrust vectoring. Anyone have any ideas?
I purchased mine from Value Hobby for 109.00 no shipping since I live close and picked it up.

Starmax F-35

Just finished building mine. Had to split the Ailerons to make then worked correctly it cam with the left elevator and left aileron on a Y - same for the right side - moved the elevator to the same Y. Disabled the gear on my DX8 so I can use it for mixing - using a 7 channel RX. Ch 5 - mixed with Rudder on F1 and Aux 2 mixed with Elevator on Mix 1.

xmech2k - do you think that will cause a problem? I do not need the insane roll rate for the maiden flight.
