![]() The CoG of the White, Silver and Black Go Pro Hero 3 are all different so you have to do something anyway. If not on the gimbal itself, then maybe something like this? |

Depth - 115mm. Height - 87mm. without vibration dampers We currently use 8mm and 15mm. vibration dampers Allow for some movement around the gimbal. EDIT: Jussi, you beat me to it while I was writing. |

What type of dampeners are you guys trying? Will they need to be in compression or tension to properly function? Most dampeners that I know need to be in compression to function properly. Would they gimbal be easy to hard mount to a plate if we already have a vibration damping scheme in place?

HI,
i'll check on the phantom that comes here, and see what we can do ![]() The infos i had about the Phantom mount are: 72mm height for the mount, with a clearance of 90mm to the ground and 100 mm width with original landing gears Mount is 30mm width and 48mm lenght, 40m between supports which are m3 (data to check) If the gimbal is fitted on the right spot in lenght, the landing gears should not interfere a they are U shaped . I'll check this on the frames i'll receive ![]() BEst regards, Fabien |

There is two mounting holes in the front. COG weight should probably be under the rear hole or even a bit further back. That said, I don't think the particular fit of the Phantom is hugely important to this awesome thread. and I am eagerly waiting to get my hands on a brusless gimbal from Europe. Bo |

As the power of the system is rather limited, is there any facility on the brushless controller to correct for the camera being displaced by violent manoever, or turbulence, as there doesn't seem to be any actual position feedback?
