I figured that you'd show up,Twin.

Your bird is the one that sent me down the Rustoleum trail, is it has an excellent paint job, that really impressed me.

Yes they do!

I just found and won a Jim Messer 1/4 scale Ercoupe kit on Ebay to go along with my Jim Messer 1/4 scale Ercoupe plans, that have been setting in my box of plans for at least ten years!
I was planning on either a scratch build but this bird uses a lumberyard worth of balsa and spruce and basswood.
I came home from work the other night and was actually looking for a 1/4 scale Sacewalker II when I found an Ercoupe being sold without any plans.
The seller had it well documented, and yes sir, it was a Jim Messer 1/4 scale Ercoupe!
I had 2 quotes from pro kit cutters, and I was able to get the kit on Ebay for much less than they quoted me.

Now all I want is a Gilmore Red Lion or Laird Turner racer to complete my shop shelf collection!

Like you Tom, I have the 1/3 scale Spacewalker, but want a 1/4 scale also.
I'm presently working on a IKONWST Monocoupe 90A I found on Ebay for a song! I got it for $45 !!!! Also a Jim Bridi Shrike for $71, a 1940's original Carl Goldberg sailplane ( old timer) for $36, all on Ebay.

I also have an IKONWST Mister Mulligan kit, a great Planes 90 inch span J3 Cub kit,and a 1/5 scale Golden Age models Mystery Ship !

One of these days I want to build a large scale Curtiss Jenny, and a large scale PT 26

I've been doing this over the past 12 years.
Building up my "retirement stash"
Since kits are quickly disappearing in favor of ARF's.
I love to build!
