Well looks like most of the gang is here too, just dropped in to say howdy.

I just wrecked my HK450 FBL last night trying to show off to the grandkids , got the trusty F45 out and flew around the yard twice landed, and that was all she wrote..... the main motor took a crap, and after only 7 flights

After that I decided a demonstration of the funcopter was in order..... finally did a piro and almost ended up in the freeway

Needless to say I was pissed and went inside and sulked like a little girl..... and then drank myself to sleep

I had almost all the spare parts except a few for the HK450...... Hello China again

450 from HELLi

Well you got me started guys,

I have to find a lexan cabin now, my buddy can paint the flames,Electric blue
with a chrome backing, bet that will look WILD,
Going with a 5000kv L.R.P. motor for this 450,(LRP is 15 km from me.)
Half throttle should be enough for starters, ordered a flymentor for the beast,
Have a dx6i with sat.long distance flight, not that I need it. But at least I wont lose contact with it.
Ohh and I ordered alu skids too, gotta chrome them too,Now just to find chrome wires lol. Alu screws, polished. Hmmm how much will this thing cost....
A bunch, but will well be worth it.
Hope I can fly the thing lol, or just put it on the shelf to look at..
Naaa ITS gotta get airborn, but after I get my Airwolf done.
I'll keep ya all posted or toasted.

How you like the FBL.
I am just gathering pieces to do the HK500 FBL. A buddy of mine did the 450 and said the quality of pieces was much better than the earlier builds he did.

This includes about 45g of clay in the nose for balance.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. And I have a 90 degree swash coming. Should be pretty easy to adjust the swash height with 6mm O.D. tubing to lock in the pitch.
