An idea from Pat Bowman and Joe Wurts:

Most orbits in 2min.

Starting as top shear is crossed as circuit is entered from front side.

I'm not suggeting this for myself, I think the model to get it could be the new K2m-L or a F3F model in lighter air.

Is anyone keen to try it? Keen to hear others opinions on it

Nah the light scratcho- I couldnt even keep up with it with the gun at Tekapo! This format could be great, I reckon it might lead to a lot of clapped wings though!

How old is this idea ?
I recall there was a most laps in X time contest at Cape Blanco some years ago
in which Joe W participated. I seem to recall it was very hard on airframes both in
the air, and flown into the ground, even by DS standards.

I think as speeds go higher, it makes it harder to achieve all out speed records. My thinking was, bring some things in to up the fun factor!!

We did the category "fastest 10 circles" which Joe won with a time of under 16 seconds (www.shredair.com/album/dsfest/dsfest5.html). Far as I remember, that particular category was not hard on airframes. This was almost 11 years ago.
