Wow. I am more than a bit confused. At first I thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread and was ready to order one immediately and now, after reading the threads, I'm getting a bit tentative about buying one. Maybe a few too many kinks to work out?. Is this company getting this product sorted out or should I just hang back a while? Did they bring it to market too soon? Thanks.

When I had calibration failures it usually was something metal close by.
Would a concrete patio produce the same issue?

Is it the concrete itself or the rebar in the concrete?

Well this IS the internet, where people mostly go to complain, not sing happy stories about how everything works perfectly.

I thought studies showed most of the Internet usage is for adult videos and pics.

Can we maybe get back on topic here?..

I've been flying my Phantom for over a month now, without a single glitch, hiccup, or random fly away. It's performed flawlessly.

I have to say the same. This system just works. I have seen several owners over thinking the whole process. Charge the lipo, take the Phantom out to a flying field (not your driveway or backyard). calibrate the compass, and fly. I took my son-in-law out for a flight this weekend and he did great. Never flown anything, but does video games occasionally, hand eye coordination helps. He is one of the folks that the Phantom will introduce to multi rotor helis.

Mines been fine since I got it..just did the initial setup (like I was instructed in the official videos) and got to an open field and boom.. flying!

I shouldn't have flown it in such a small space at first (testing).. but I was anxious. Once I got out into the open, I was golden. I am a total flying newbie, and I got a grip on the Phantom within moments.

Ditto mine, this thing is fantastic. I flew at night for the first time last night under the full moon. The lights on this thing are bright! I don't know how many UFO sightings I inspired.
