another aha moment :P turns out that i wasn't crazy: caster angle cant be changed without getting a new c-block according to

Still thinking if i was to do caster with it, though. been playing with adjustable caster. it's pain because im not good at this yet, so ill do camber like the above image and caster through different c-blocks, or maybe angle up the whole front diff/suspension assy |

Adjustable caster sounds nice, the main problem will probably be to keep it durable as well.

slowly?
sorry for the slow response. currently im working on shocks/diff case/ all that stuff around there. and thinking about using the e-revo "flat shock" style. like this: ![]() and it shows how to do caster fairly easier by using the ball cup things grr why didnt i think of that... i think ill stick to the caster blocks that i have for now. i was trying this for caster: but i found that to be too much of a pain as the sphere bearings just don't give enough freedom the shocks i design will probably be similar to the "Traxxas Revo Front or Rear" from here: http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/shocks.html and a question: what level of "stretch" should the shocks be when the suspension has no load (like if you were holding the rc in the air by the chassis)? neutral? |
