AC 45's on the SF Bay!

Here's the Swedish team practicing for September based on the de-activated Alameda Naval Air Station. I shot this last week. The AC45s working 100 yds off the west end of the USS Hornet.

I currently sail a Hobie Tandem Island, but previously owned a "vintage" J24 (25 years old) and a Holland 25 quarter tonner.

Started sailing when I was 12 but had been around powerboats and piloting then since I was 6. Sold my mid '80s Seidleman 25 a few years ago. I've done quite a few regatas with a blind sailing program in and around Boston harbor.

My favourite year for racing was 2008:
Crewing in the UK Tornado Nationals and also competing in both the F16 Worlds and A Class Nationals, all top ten finishes.

My humble apologies, but the design names were completely unfamiliar to me and I would think the vast majority of the sailing fraternity. Your Avatar indicated that you are a noisy wasp flier, so presumed------.
