eLMH110 flight times? What to expect?

How long can the LMH110 fly on a standard 17 turn car engine?
Iīm using the Speed 500 SP and I only get around 3 minutes on my new 7x1400 SRC cells.

On a 17 turn, if you were to gear for 8 cells and use 1400AE cells, you should get about 5-6 minutes I would think. THis based on my tests with a 16T and a 19T motor and 8x1400AE cells.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Whops, that time wasīnt real true, today i went flying outside, it was blowing "too" much, but i couldīnt wait for a calm day... And guess what, in thoose bad conditions i flew it "hard" for 5 minutes, and did some hoover for the last minute.
It seems that the NiCadīs just needed some recycling before performance went up.

But it also seems that it will need more power flying indoors on low altitude (just 1 meter over ground), then flying outside in cold wheather and 5 meter altitude? It flew perfect even in theese harsh conditions! Wow, i really gonna like this (lite) machine.

I flew it 5 times, then I was to cold to continue, its 4 degrees C outside and blows, so....

Flight times will increase with forward flight (or in this case windy conditions). On a calm day, fly it until it won't get out of ground effect, then put it into forward flight - you will find it going up.

Have fun!

You said you are using 1400SCR cells? Are these older car sub C cells or are they 1400AE "A" size cells?

If you are using sub C cells, you should go to the 2400 if you stay in that size, or try the CP1700 cells, which will save you a couple ozs.

The "A" 1400 cells are being pushed a little with a S500, the CP1700's will handle the draw fine.

AUW is critical in something like the LMH and you should be getting around 5 minutes.
