Build Log
Snyder Fighter - Lloyd Snyders version of a mini wing

The Snyder Fighter was born when I gave Lloyd Snyder a Hobby King Motor , ESC and servos and said "Go build a airplane".

A week later he came back with this wing

Yes there are a Hundred other wing builds on RCG's......
But people started asking for plans for THIS one so here we go.....

There will be much more to come in time so check back later.

This plane requires a LOT of expo!

Here is the top view of the wing and elevon.
Those are 1" squares on the drawing.

This one is a screamer compared to the big one.....
It can be built with just one sheet of foam....
it uses a cheap $7 motor.......

The Bell type motor is what Mine and Lloyds has in it. I want to try the gold outrunner next. (same motor is in my Cartoon Mustang)

The bell type motor has a very crappy motor mount to fit on a stick. It's trash, Lloyd ended up JB welding his onto the motor to keep it on. I ended up using a differnt kind of mount for mine. I also cut the threaded part of the shaft off of mine and used a 3MM collet type prop holder.

Delta/paintball wing.........

Yup, my Delta wing is alive and well, have a ton of fun with that one Mark.

The flat spins sound awesome, and all the way to status firmus with no damage, WOW!!

I'm hoping to build this smaller version eventually, but the main focus is my B-2 at this time.

Installing the retracts on the B-2 set my time schedule back a little, but I think it'll be done for the March mall show. (I theeeenk)

When I flew my Snyder Fighter Sunday with Boo Boo and David I was being real agressive flying it and even flat spun it to the ground to show them. Well when I re-launched it I had my hands full with a crazy stripped elevon servo.

It was barely controllable, I ended up spinning it into the roof of my carport and it then falling to the ground...... Zero Damage

So Now I'm switching to MG (Metal gear) servo's.

Note: In the huge wing gaggle we had the other week, I felt like I was flying a ME-163 rocket plane flying thru B-17 formations (the bigger wings), crashing into them at will.

Hey,
set a High rate so the elevon goes up about 65 and you can do slow a$$ flat spins all the way to the ground
