Wow! that is one strong servo! Wonder if this would make a good sail servo? My favorite Futaba S 3801 as you know is no longer produced - The one you point out is a lot stronger! Might brake something if you weren't careful but it would sure pull in the sails!! Looks like they are sold out!

Always good to chat with you! I have not had any issues with the speed of the
S3801 - I guess having a faster servo would be nice. I have several S3801's on hand that I collected over the years so I am good for now, but this one is of interest if I could find it at a lower price!

Maybe on some of Dick L's big trimarans, where reaction speed to gusts seems important to stop capsizing/pitchpoling. We casual saiors, though, probably aren't as quick with our thumbs on the sticks.
