The Horten is not an easy plane to get right. I would not invest my time making a Horten unless I saw it flying first. Incidentally the one at the start of the thread you were pointed to is my turbine Horten which is a great flyer.

ive messed with simple flying wing, the only thing is the funky that ive encountered is the need for twist in the wing. im working on desiging a go229, but the issue is the lack of an elevator or horizontal stab to keep the wing 'pointed up'. i had a simple KF airfoil ho229 and it did an nice nose dive every time till i bent up the TE of the wing tip.

(here im mosly guessing, but i am thinking a more elegant solution is to move the center of lift for a given airfoil 'aftwards' and i belive this is how it was done on the full scale plane. "bell shaped distribution of lift" this would be a more elegant solution, tho im guessing you could work with a elevrons and lots of trim.

Suggest you study that "bales" plan v carefully ..do a bit of on screen research..Gawd knows there are reams of documents.
Then.. decide if it's a workable plan.
IX's on edf are problematic to execute successfully. Wayyy more failures than successes, which is why 'good' ones are so well regarded. Not a project to be undertaken on a whim.
IMO old mr Bales (rip) had little grasp of what was involved, beyond filling the three view with parts.
