fighter planes

hey all, i just wanted to know what everyone thought about RC fighter planes. Also, what should be the easier ones to build and to fly. I wanted to build a model of a jet airplane, maybe like an F-15, or Mig-28, but im guessing these are either neirly impossible, or just too damn expensive. anyway, post some of your opinions, thanks

If you are a beginner, you should try a slow, trainer plane. A good trainer has a slow speed, large wingspan and tricycle landing gear.
If you already know the basics, try an aerobatic trainer. That should give you enough experience to control a faster, usually more aerobatic jet plane.
Most of the time, less expensive is not the way to go, later on you may want to move up to a higher aircraft and you may have to buy a new radio and other equipment. Also, the quality may be downgraded from the more expensive.
The aircraft that may be easier to build may be a one wing plane, (sorry forgot the word delta wing or something) may be a good starter jet plane. Most of the time the engine is out of harms way, and the wing can more readily survive the impact. Merry- X-Mas- Ely

Check out e-flightline.com , they specialize in making performance modifications to the GWS line of warbirds, several are suited to beginners if you build the planes with elevater and rudder, and set up airlerons later after you have some "stick time".

Do a search on any of the GWS planes in the Parkflyer forum to get comment, feedback, preferences, and recommendations.

FIGHTER PLANES

modern fighter jets are aerodinamicaly unstable, they need the support of onboard sophisticated computing systems to keep them on the air. so for a model fighter plane it is needed to do some modifications compared to the full size ones, and still they are not easy to fly.

even WWII fighters are a little bit hard to fly, I have a Great planes Stuka with an O.S. 91 Surpass, it looks so beautifull doing low passes over the runway, but it is always a challenge to land it.
