its easier for me to find the (You have posted in this thread) icon instead of (Subscribed) icon only...
sometimes when u scroll u accidently missed the Subscribed icon, its easier to catch when u have both & icon at the same time

So you are using brushless motor as a three phase stepper motor with microstepping?
What is the current consumption? Is it more or less constant all the time?
Nice project, keep it up!

see some figures of 300-400$ bouncing here in topic, yes, zenmuse costs 3500.
but this is sort of DIY, it won't work out of the box, pretty good tuning will be needed to make it work like some expect,
gimbal has to be in perfect balance with camera, motors need to be rewinded, model musn't create vibrations..
it is not a magic, it just works better then servos do, but you need to put some effor into it.
I really hope it will not be over 150$ (controller)
because parts for the whole controller cost around 30$ if you buy 1 piece of needed parts here in Europe.
(people are building their own but code part is little rocky for now, maybe will be better as things develop [http://translate.googleusercontent.c...uIP8rMTjGJFnWA )
If you buy 1000+ parts needed for controller in China where they make them... then it could easily be made under 20$
not to forget there is still the cost of modified motors and balanced gimbal,
people can rewind them at home or buy RTF rewinded and pay some more,
so there is plenty space for profit to manufacturers and ofcourse developer AlexMos who made all this to happen.
remember that multiwii boards with whole bunch of sensors now cost around 18$, and still some money goes to original creator of the code...
but thousands of people buy them.. so it pays of for sure.
my gear is balanced and ready, motors rewinded,
bring the fun part guys, please keep the price of controller reasonable, don't be greedy
