Pike Perfect ET $699 shipped, $640 LPU
See original thread here:
As stated less than perfect! Tips are basically perfect though, and I bought Pike bags for them. I purchased the glider in this condition, flew it a handful of times with no change in condition. The glider flies amazingly well, I don't have anything else with this span so I can't really make an assessment as to how the damage affects performance, but I was impressed with the glider. And this has to be getting close in price to what a new set of tips goes for...
I bought his Xplorer a few months after this purchase, and then an E fuse for it, and don't need the Pike anymore.
I've had a few questions now about the glider. The bottom line is that I think it is a very good flying glider and I'm not trying to squeeze every penny into the price because damage is subjective. It's obviously not in condition for a top competition but for someone wanting a very good flying F3J ship for $700 I don't think it can be beat. It's a big wing and I don't think it affects the performance that much. But damage is a very subjective so I'm being cautious, if you don't care what your glider looks like and you don't want to spend even $800 for a glider, this is your ship! I liked it because I got to fly a Perfect and see what it's characteristics were without spending $1500...
Paypal only, no Rx, shipped in a SUSA box, FedEx (about $60)
