Is the Jeti DC-16 good for sailplanes? You bet it is.
Just to open up the choices people have and for those who don't know about this radio yet, the Jeti DC-16 and the DS-16 are very nice radios and can do anything you like for sailplanes.
I have had an JR 9303, a JR 12X, an Airtronics SD-10G and they are very good radios, but it took me a while to learn their programming idiosyncrasies, which I never did very well. For me, the Jeti is pretty much a breeze. I'm not saying it has more bells and whistles (which I like), just that for my aging brain it made sense more easily. Here are links to 2 threads about it. They aslo have great videos showing the features and programming steps. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1693301 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1785539 I won't go into all the details about what it does.
