Help with this tx/ fpv set up

Hey guys I just sold an old plane and i will be getting a new charger, Tx, and fpv gear for my radian pro. I live in the us, and i will be getting fpv goggles seperately.

This is the total set up that i have come to the conclusion of if you could lend me your two cents on it and let me know if i have too much or I am missing anything. Thanks.

Why not just buy a starter kit?

Something like that.

You could buy the Predator V2 kit for like $270. That everything you need to start. I do recommend upgrading antennas though.
I spent about $700 on my setup and love it, but I never ever ever intended to spend that much, but I love it. My buddy I fly with everyday has the V2 starter package and he loves it, I like it too. You can do a lot of research and see that it is a very popular starter package for cheap. Here is the V2 package, you can also get this same package on HobbyKing, but Readymaderc has excellant customer service. I had an issue with a couple of things in my order and was sent new items immediately with 2 day shipping. Great people and very loyal.

okay so heres the deal. I want to use goggles but im on a budget. Heres the remote set up I will be getting: I want to get goggles with everything i need for the plane and ground station. If you could give me links to the cheapest way that i can go and still enjoy fpv, I don't need a crazy good camera for my plane, and i have a charger for everything, so the only thing left will be the tx rx and everything for fpv, as im very confused..

You do know that the goggles are the most expensive part. If you are on a budget you could just use an external video monitor like a small dvd monitor or something like that for now. I was on a budget as well and came here for help. I got great advice from a lot of people. The advice that I went with, which I do not regret, was to buy good quality now and I wont have to upgrade as much later. This is tottally up to you, but if you go to my profile and check out my thread on beginning fpv then you can learn a lot. I think my thread got up to about 8 pages. You can see what people recommended for budget stuff, it will be well worth your time to read it.

I recently got the Turnigy 9x, backlight, and adapter to flash to er9x, I love it. But, a week after I ordered mine the Turnigy 9xr came out which is already flashed. This will be a WAY better option to get. It is not that much more money.

Here is the link to my thread, read it! If you have any questions, feel free to post here or pm me.

I do not know anything about those goggles, I trust Fat Shark though, they are reliable and are used by many people. Somone else will have to help you with your other question. I am not as knowledgable on this stuff as many other are. I know readmaderc.com, hobbywireless.com, and hobbyking.com are good sites to look at, with hobbyking being the least fav out of the three mentioned.

"Buy cheap, buy twice" is extremely relevant to fpv equipment. I've had the same fatshark 5.8ghz goggles for three years, and it's the perfect setup for me.

And always buy from readymaderc and not these shady chinese companies.

This is everything you need to start fpv.
