Opening the Bag

Upon opening up the Ziploc bag you will find a small instruction card explaining how to install the RC Booya Canopy Mounts. Behind the card you will also find the canopy standoffs, canopy pins, grommets, and an RC Booya canopy sticker.



Installation

Installation really can’t get any easier. Just remove the factory canopy mounting posts off the helicopter frame, add some thread locker, and screw on the RC Booya standoff posts. As far as the canopy grommets go you first have to remove the stock canopy grommets. Then you will need to drill or dremel out the hole to the specs required on the instruction card. Pop in the supplied grommet, slide in the post, and you are done. Slide on your canopy and snap the post inside the standoff. To remove the canopy just push the nipple in the canopy pin and slide it back off.

These look cool. Do you think they'd work on my Mini Protos? (450). Sick of the standard grommets!

Since making my review RCBooya has now machined the stand offs for the 450 Pro.
The Trex500 ones worked fine but the stand offs were a bit long.
