Hi drko,

the EYE One Xtreme is very different from the first generation EYE One.

The Xtreme will feature brushless motors altitude hold LED lights, and is twice the size of the EYE One. Here is a sample video of Chris and I flying the sample in Las Vegas just before debuting it at the CES show.

I think he was referring to the additional differences between the 2 "Xtreme" versions (besides the prop sizes), not how it compares to the first gen Eye One. please correct me if I'm wrong.

up until now I was under the impression there would be 1 Xtreme released that included the 2 different prop sizes for sport and steady (ie with a camera) flying?

That's what I meant-it sounds like there are 2 xtreme setups. Can't imagine just prop size is $20

The "Xtreme" versions are very different and scheduled to retail from 129.- to 149.- (125mm prop and 150mm prop versions) and will make it hopefully also around mid to end of April. They are both brushless.

Parts of the current EYE One are fully compatible with the S version, so no harm done for your spare order. You will be able to fit both types of landing gear.

Yes, there will be two different "Xtreme" versions with having different props and different features. It is correct to say that one version is designed to hold cameras for AP, thus it includes altitude height hold function and the other version is dedicated to those out there who prefer acrobatic flying and do not really pay much attention to AP/FPV.

We are still finalizing the design and features. This keeps us very busy at the moment since we are targeting to have it all ready by April.

As soon as I have something to share, especially images, I will do so.

I know this isn't an update regarding the Xtreme, but with there also being a decent amount of talk on here about the X2 camera I saw this over on the facebook page and thought it was worth sharing. It's some raw footage taken by the X2 prototype at the Thailand Heli Blowout. Make sure to adjust you settings to 1080p to get the best quality (even though you always lose quality when posting to youtube )
