Dude,
That video was AWESOME.
What a great idea.
What are you using to get that great ground distance. I saw a bunch of antennas on the roof.

That's inspiring me to get a FPV vehicle too.

That was awesome!!! I thought i saw a Kangaroo go flying past at around 5:30 and checked to see if you were in Australia. That cleared it up for me. I guess they run around there like deer run around here in the states! That looked like fun. So what did she say the next time y'all talked? I was wanting to see the followup video of her reaction when she realized that you did that from your house.

Using a 1.2ghz transmitter with home made dipole and tracking yagi on roof. Boosted dragonlink (module on roof linked via cat5e cable).
Spoke to Sue on the phone - she was rather gobsmacked and impressed. She went and told Geoff and he thought she had been drinking They are coming around tomorrow night so they can have a look at what it is all about then

this is exactly what I want to do at home, do you think you could get even more distance with your setup?

Definitely My biggest restriction is the hilly country out here. I can go 1.8kms before I start going to far behind a hill. Once I get past this the 2km mark shouldn't be a problem (easier said than done though )
