The 0.67x macro+wide angle lenses for iPhones, would not work at 100% because it is designed for a "larger" lens (as compared to the 808). You do get a little bit of wide angle effect with the 808 as I had tried on it.

To achieve the full wide-angle effect, the "source" lens (i.e. 808 camera) has to be the same size as the intended one, i.e. iPhone camera lens. Putting this 0.67x lens over the 808 is like fitting a baseball cap on a fist.

Other than a reduced wide angle effect, the additional weight of the 0.67x is another concern.

But it does work very well on an iPhone.

Just got the V959 Very impressive flight characteristics. My video however leaves a lot to be desired. It starts out really great but gradually degrades into stutters to the point that eventually I'm getting sequential stills. I've only tried the stock supplied micro 4gb micro sd. Do I need a faster (higher numbered) sd card? I am importing into a Windows 7 computer and using their stock video program. Do I need a different program? Thanks

finally received my v959 so excited even shot a unboxing video. But seller sent battery separately claiming that it's illegal to send by China Post with battery? Battery sent by HongKong Post but it's not tracking so far. I had battery from coaxial heli with the same connector so I checked the quad, seems to be great.

WOW. video is 16Mbps. incredible. that's why you need fast memory card with it. I recommend class 10. for 640x480 it's a bit too much. sound is decent too: 352kbps. I think I can slow video and even use stills. but in low light it's pretty noisy

yes, you need Linux with new KDENLIve or at least ffmpeg can't imagine how people may use windows it can't playback file if it only slightly corrupted, shuts down windows and behaves like crap ... what it actually is. no offense. Linux saved my life 5 years ago. If you still need interface like W7 try sinclair

I took a short one. I was impressed by how smooth the video was with the 959 in flight. My V959 was ordered from BG. It came with a 2GB micro SD.

How long is your video? I can try something as long to see if I would have the same problem. I am using mplayer (basically with svn ffmpeg compiled in) on linux to play back though.

For any having problems viewing video from cam, please try the absolute best video/media player,, VLC open source and completely free. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
This thing does it all and with lots of option etc..

For your still pics I recommend XNview, also free and will allow quick easy adjustments of levels "brightness&contrast" cropping adding text and converting etc.. http://www.xnview.com/

+1 for VLC. It plays where the other ones fail. Plus I was lucky enough to get VLC for my iPod before Apple pulled it.

2nd for vlc, it plays anything you throw at it...

I see in the video both worked, you took the V959 farther out was it because it felt more stable in wind? Did wind conditions change.
So what are your thoughts?

But they are not a direct fit because there is a big gap between the blade socket and the bearing. This allows the shaft to slide up/down and when that happens, the main gear and the pinion may be disenaged. I cut small pieces of duct tape to fill up the excess space. Need to find a better solution!
