I think you can cut the shaft, and drill a new hole for the screw.
I order with the 959 a set of those props, if a knew that they are shorter than the stock ones i have ordered 4 shafts, this way i am able to use the stock ones and the gw´s.
Mine is still on is way to me.

How does the 959 camera work.

Is it any good for a FPV camera?

Thanks for the reply. Just deciding to buy another 949 as the TX on my current one is faulty. (Bangood have been good and will help with a coupon)

I am not good enough to fly a 929 yet and the newer ones would be more stable for FPV.

Just thought the 959 would be good to do FPV (new camera) and if the 959 TX works on a 949.

The V959 TX does work with the V949.

Thanks - guess a 959 is looking interesting for FPV after removing the standard camera.

Fyre.. I remember reading a post saying the 959 still binds with the 9x.. Is that still true?

Will be good to see your pictures when you have done it.

I have a big quad and a small heavy one and they fly sort or but need a firmware upgrade on the KK2. Also a more expensive MQX but not stabilised so need more practise before I do that again.

These little things are cheap and fly good right out of the box. I have a feeling from the FPV view it will be easier than LOS.

EDIT: Bugger - looks like 959 only comes in Mode 2 and I am Mode 1.

I guess there is no module for a Futaba 9C for these quads?

I aim to post some pics

An fpv view is a different sort of flying from Los...
For example when I fly fpv with the quad I fly it like I would a plane...except when I need to hover around something
When I fly Los I fly it like a quad...

I personally think Los is easier than fpv...but it's a personal view

Ps no futaba compatibility... Check with JamesChen as to mode 1 availability

Mode one is unavailable at the moment...they don't see the demand (although I really think there's HUGE demand).

Thanks - I guess it can be seen how popular Mode 1 is from the 949 sales.

Must try Mode 3 on the other ones my Futaba works on. It seems fairly logical for a Mode 1 plane flier.

I wonder how it'll fare under poor lighting, so I flew it at park by the sea after knocking off from work.

Nice vid, can't wait to get mine and try it out. I will try and use as smooth movements as possible, tough on this quad. The bobbing from the self leveling almost makes you seasick. And the music was a nice break from the sound of the motors or the usual techno.

Video makes me think that this little thing could be used to shoot wedding(as additional areal camera). I miss the summer seeing this video. do have 100% control of quad or it just drifts?
