The time has come for multi rotor pilots to climb out of their dimly lit caves and gather in broad daylight to meet face to face and compete in FPV multi rotor racing insanity. Its the obvious next step for FPV. And it's starting now.

I think this is a great idea.

This is a great idea. My local quad flyers & I have already been talking about creating race specific quads.

If I had one suggestion for the website, it would be to get rid of the bouncing MRR banner on the top of the page. Its alittle annoying and takes up an awful lot of screen space... on every single page too?

I'm about to really dig into the site this weekend hopefully.
I had that animation up as the splash page before actually developing the site. I will be able to put as much time into the site as there is interest. The more response I get , the more time I can allocate to it, as well as financial resources if need be. (My wife doesn't understand why anyone would be interested, so I have to prove her wrong!) I am also looking for administration help on the site if anyone is interested in helping develop the site and admin responsabilities. (Pm me)

Yeah I saw the site the other day.

Progress is looking good. I am planning on turning my V-Tail frame into a high speed quad racer!

I just need some 6s ESC's

I didn't see that site when searching for existing FPV racing sites...

This all started watching the TDB videos, so you guys are the pioneers here.

TDB started with a few of us that met on the Open Pilot forum.
One day there was a post "Anyone in Melbourne" and before we knew it we had 8 guys hooking up for a fly from time to time.

Then one day I said "We should have a race". And then it was on!!!

That's what is awesome about our websites, like minded people can find each other and go have some fun!

After reading this thread, and having a look at what you guys are doing in Australia and New Zealand, we are starting to set up racing in South Africa. Response on the local forum seems to be positive. I have registered the domain name multirotorracing.co.za and parked it while we get some more response and figure out a few rules and find locations.
