Servo linear or rotary movement
Some new micros have linear movement servo like the Xieda, Nano, Hisky. Generally , are they faster ? more robust ? more precise ? or simply less expensive to produce ?

Linear servos are unlikely to strip gears and are lighter. They are probably more expensive to produce, because they are less common.
