that looks so sharp in blue. love it!

honestly, that doesn't sound like a bearing. they usually scream/squeal when it's a bearing. I don't hear that. not sure what's going on there, but IMHO it doesn't sound like a bad bearing.

Thanks guys, it helps to keep the builds going when there is interest in them.

With paint curing,
we are spending the time working up a cradle, as throwing this thing has been thrown out the door.
Hoping for a maiden this weekend if we can figure out that engine whine.
I have honestly never heard anything like that before with an outrunner set up.

if all goes well, Im thinking of tweaking the airfoil to use a thicker chord for easier landing gear installation, and then resizing plans for 70,80,120mm units

These jets are know for thier speeds.
If your looking for a very fast model, I would change out the EDF for a Wemotec Midifan pro, Mach 80mm or Shubie DS-44.

I'd be interested in a 80mm or 90mm plans set. Definately with the chord alterered to fit 80-90mm sized E-tracts. (I would sacrifice some speed for LG)
The E-Flite 15-25 size (or equivilant) would be great.
Adding Tams trailing link struts would add some weight, but be nice for those with grass fields.
We have a 80mm Habu 32 that does 161mph, flat and level. This bird would probably do 175 with the same setup.
