Good question

Part of the cost is from the length of the boom .Canada post also offers a higher insurance value for each parcel compared to USPS.
Apparently after my packages cross the border, UPS [in many cases] takes it from there. They offer Sunday service etc. I have had a number of people that ordered more than one boom or pod and I price the package based on my costs etc. Its not much trouble for me to give a shipping cost provided I have a idea of the number of parts and your zip code. Thanks

Well i know that UPS carries shipping tubes in all sizes and lengths, and it would be very easy to leave the pod and boom dissasembled from eachother, and shove them into the tube with tons of foam and protective packing. but im not sure you have stuff like that in canada?

Ok ,now your kidding right?

The package is approx 33 inches long with a 31 inch boom
The pod is not only inside a box but a PVC tube as well separate from the boom.
Hope this helps
