FrankenYak

What do you get when you have parts laying around and time? You get FrankenYak.
Specs are:
25" version of leadfeather's yak 55 1.9 epp
19 gram suppo motor and 10 amp esc. 8x4.3 tuff prop
OrangeRx R610 receiver.
5 gram servo for ailerons two 2.5 gram servos for elevator and rudder.

Did a quick test flight on the FrankenYak. Wind was blowing about 14mph so I didn't do much other than see if it'd fly, which it did. Even with the 1.9 epp the wings did bow some, need to add some carbon. And color will be a must as well. Figured the 2.5 servos would be weak with this airframe but they work out pretty good.

FrackenYak is once again on the bench going through a reduex. I didn't like the bowing of the wing so I added another spar a bit longer than the original. It helped quite a bit from first impressions. Now I just have to put it all back together. Thank god for welders and acetone.

Finally got around to test flying the plane. Flys good though I lost the prop band, hence the clip is small.
